This is another factor to way in on when deciding to go with the Megasquirt vs. the Portfueler. Disabling the stock injector harness would produce an immediate check engine light. The portfueler uses the stock computer to control the stock injectors - no check engine light. Those who are looking to pass inspeciton easier (without removing the light, resetting the code, etc) can pass much easier with a properly working Portfueler (disable turbo actuator and power to the injector controller). All options must be considered before jumping the gun on a fuel system. --Kurt
