With everything I have read in this forum and experience with my car. I can say that is not the psi that kill your engine. Is the HP levels that the engine can winstand. With the HRC kit and the Star kit at 10 psi, you will getting the engine at its limits of 275 hp. This will be able to get you (as a good driver) into the 13's. If you go over 10 psi, you will be over the 275 hp, the pistons ring lands and connecting rods would be in danger.

I have a smaller turbo, Mitsubishi TEO4H (similar to T-25) and stock internals, and I was able to run 12 psi daily and sometimes 13-15 psi spikes. I have 8 injector setup with HKS AIC and running rich. The only problem I had, was that I didn't change the oil pump on my rebuild engine. The compression was well over 200 all across. The crankshaft rear main bearing failed. There were no signs of damage on the pistons or pistons ring lands, nor the rods.

Boost will depend on the type of turbocharge you are running. 16G(HRC) and T3/T4(Star) don't go over 10 psi. Maybe once in a while but very rich. If you have a T-25 or similar turbocharger you can hit the 12 psi daily and 15 psi very rich. All comes down to good monitoring of engine gauges and good fuel delivery.

I will be finishing the engine this week. So I will be posting some pictures later.
