Posted by Nitrous_RS1997, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM Strauss ran his runs on a built motor...but with STOCK injectors, and i believe he boost spiked to 13psi or so and would settle at 11psi. he also did this at an INSANELY high mph(like 115mph if i remember correctly). and im pretty sure he was on drag radials... but maybe not. he showed the slips, so i really hope it wasnt him the above guy was callin out. my most recent run, was at our local 1/8th mile track, on Nitto drag radials and 13-14psi. cut a 2.015 60' time, and ran a best of 8.3@88mph, with consistent 8.4's and 8.5's the whole evening. its all in the launch. 10psi is plenty to get into the 13's with the right tire/driver combo. better indicator of what the actual car is capable of without the driver holding it back, is the trap speed. | |
