A esy fix to the o-rin gis to just cut that portion of the fitting off. There is still 1/2" of fitting left on the braket so using a piece of tube is easy. Plus you can always use the stock pump, you just won't have a stupid o-ring.
Jason, I would replace those springy clamps with som beffy screw clamps like mine. I use those for ALL my high pressure lines.

Safer is better :)
