Part number 4 in the diagram, is it the same in a convertible? Anyone have a convertible to check?

I need to replace mine since the previous owner half assed a set of tweeters into it.

Passenger side is the same, drivers side has extra switches for the rear quarter glass.

In the convertible the switches are in a separate trim piece right? of is that entire trim all one piece? Its not really the switch panel i need but the trim that mounts to the door panel itself.

The switch panels are removable, just be easy cause those screw holes strip/break very easily and I think there are some plastic tabs that are "melted" together to help hold it too. I'll double check when I get home.

I've always thought out door panel's were engineered very poorly. I know nobody had a door panel with all the plastic screw hole tabs still in tact.

Well I ordered the RH side and it arrived today....well sort of. The factory boxed up the LH side in the RH side box. So i have the correct drivers side and I am waiting for the RH side again.

As for precautions regarding the screw tabs.....your not telling me anything I didnt learn 10 years ago. "This isnt my first Rodeo"
