I had the same problem with mine when I removed them for a fresh coat of paint. I think everyone does.

No, there isn't anything else you need to remove. Just put some anti-seize on them, let it soak in a bit. Then I had to be rather aggressive with it to break that "rust" seal. Once you get one off, you will see what I mean. It also seemed to help me to have the arm standing up, then just kept wiggling it back and forth.

Bed the arm up (at the spring-joint, don't actually break it) then twist (forget which way, try) both, voila.

I guess I used Liquid Wrench on mine, and just let it soak in a bit. If it's being real stubborn you could tap on it with a hammer (obviously protecting it, and not hard enough to dent it) or a rubber mallet. That will vibrate it and possibly be enough to get it off. I think I did that to mine also, but seeing as I was repainting, I didn't care if I damaged the finish.

I used WD, rust eater... but still no luck.

I don't mean to sound like a jackass but you said you removed the "bolt", but as I remember its only a nut you have to remove. Have you tried folding the wiper arm up, as I suggested? I had to do this to both mine an a friends altima when we replaced his blades/repainted the arms. Good luck :thumbsup

like Ed said (he he that rhymes) lifting the arm takes the tension off the post that the arm sits on, you'll never get it off with the wiper against the windshield.

lots of PB Blaster too FTW

Yep, I'm folding the arm up and trying and trying... The reason why I ask is that I just had my windshield replaced. When they did, I saw them pop off the wiper arm really easly. So, I thought I could do the same... Thought wrong. I dont' know...

If the windshield place just had them off then you shouldn't have any trouble getting them loose. Did they fuck something up when they put them back on?

Hmm weird, if they just got installed/unistalled, there is like no rust holding them...try activating your wipers, stop them at different positions and try then. This is odd :scratch

indeed, I'm wondering if you're yanking at the right spot, although I can't see how there would be another place to pull
