I finally had a chance to polish my car & wanted to take a few pics. The car was swirled/scratched very bad when I got it and just haven't had time until now to take care of it. This is also the first chance I had to clean my engine bay since the HRC install. Let me know what you guys think!

wow, beautiful car bro. I love the turbo spoiler and the sideskirts. I have the spoiler on my spyder, and im taking the sideskirts off a parts car im going to pick up in a few minutes. I'll try to get some pics up when i get everything all done in a few days.

beautiful car. I love black 2gb's with the turbo spoiler and a big fmic filling up the front bumper. :thumbsup Makes me wish I could tint my fronts. The wheels look good too, they almost make the car look like it's in motion in the first few pics.

Looks great man. I would paint your piping and valve cover gloss black.

CD2 Engine detailer for the rubber part and aluminum etch for the metal part.


For painting the VC/pipes black, I'll stick with my red powder coating!!

Haha. Clean Black Car Club. I think you just moved very close to the top. I'm saving pictures of your car for future reference. When someone starts talking about body kits making the car look better than stock, I'll be able to share a handful of pictures with them of how the stock look comes correct if you just put a little effort into it.

It's been a couple years, but the owner of this car has finally got things put back together (in an entirely different GSX to be done up as above), but we're afraid he's crankwalked his built 7-bolt in the first 1500 miles. Starter engagement is hit or miss, engine just died on him the other day, when he can get it to light off, it stumbles and dies almost immediately, and he had a random crank position sensor code that's not returned. Scary times.

Damn man, that is one clean car. :thumbsup and I'd vote you into the cbcc fo sho'

Man, I remember that car. The owner posted pics of it after he totalled it. I almost cried when I saw the pics. I thought I remembered him posting that he had installed some huge monster turbo at one time that snapped the axles right off when he went to go drive the car.

Question, is having a ATX Turbo'd 420a better,more reliable than a MTX. My first major job will be a trans. swap not sure. I'm still planning everything out. It seems like a 50/50 when it comes to turboing our cars.

My will be turbo'd but I'll be rolling on Gold rims on my White GS.

I think retail is around $3500. It is all HRC. I'm not sure about the ATX/MTX question because my car is an MTX.

Kinda makes me wish I had my Eclipse still. At least a few board members have pieces of her living on. Nice car. Very cleanly done.

All the black eclipes i see have paint problems im impressed you havent suffered from this very nice.

it's called care and maintenance. darker colors require more cleaning and waxing to protect the paint. most people aren't willing to take the time.
