anyone else's motors starting to get really slow? i forget how many years since it's been since i installed the motors but i swear they were 2-3 times faster before. guess it's time for a new kit... can't really complaing since it's easily been one've the best convenience mods i've ever done.

when i buy a new kit do you think i just need to swap the motors or should i swap the entire assembly? i'm not sure if it's just the motors getting old or if the chain portion gets gunked up over time as well.

nah it only comes as the complete kit AFAIK but i've had problems before where the chain portion on mine broke and i just swapped that portion from a new kit. i've only got 1 spare new motor though. the actual window modules are really 2 pieces - the motor and the chain. there's only a couple screws holding them together.

i guess maybe i'll swap the whole thing and keep my old chains as spares.
