98660, Talon Low Rise Spoiler Weather Striping Posted by ronjeremy525, Apr-20-07 05:08 AM
Every time i wash my car i have leaves and crap coming from underneath my spoiler. so i decided to take it off. upon inspection i noticed that the wind was actually rubbing on the glass, and the right side tip of the spoiler was rubbing the paint of the car. I'm looking for some replacement weatherstriping to keep the leaves out and to keep it from rubbing the paint anymore. Thanks for the help.

I'm not quite sure how it attaches but you might try sticking it down with some body mounting tape, the 3M stuff is the best, you could also try some bulb style weatherstripping under it to keep stuff out if the gap is too big for the mounting tape but that's a bit more expensive http://www.partsamerica.com/productdetail.aspx?MfrCode=MMM&MfrPartNumber=03614&CategoryCode=3372 http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?MfrCode=MET&MfrPartNumber=MW78348&CategoryCode=3456

i'm looking for more of a rubber or foam pad about 1/8" wide that's sticky on one side. something like this only not as wide. http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?MfrCode=MET&MfrPartNumber=MW11425&CategoryCode=2101
