i have searched for about an hour now and i can't find the part number for the pins that hold the hatch cover to the hatch when you lift it up. i looked in the CAPS also no luck. Thanks for the help.

Go to the dealership, tell Satan what you need. Give him $11. Leave happy. I could be wrong about the price. It's been a couple years since I purchased mine. If they don't know what you are talking about tell them it is what the cargo hatch cover clips to.

shoulda spent $.50 at home depot, they're gonna go bad again, I learned to the tune of about $35 total, finally gave up

It may have been less than that. I bought them about 2 months after I got the car. That's been about 3 years now. Trivial stuff like that I don't keep track of anymore either. Not since throwing down a load of cash to buy all new ball joints in the last week.
