98034, screw in windshield vent Posted by ivan300, Mar-04-07 01:50 PM
i was working on my car(installing gauges) and i managed to drop a screw in the windshield vent. Is there any way to get it out. It sounded like it went far down when it fell.

Umm, take it apart and try to get it out? If not don't worry about it, it's not going to hurt anything.
Use some common sense. When you try that, learn to post this in the right place.

they sell extendable magnets- it looks like a small radio antenna with a magnetic tip- that could work...

another great one to get is the magnet on the flex shaft, slightly more expensive but great when you don't have a straight shot
