I want to put my Ignition Swith where the lighter is has anyone done this and if so can you do a write up.

No I did not take a ride in a SAAB because this kid in my neighborhood has officialy made saabs the gayest cars ever and I want to have the push button with a hidden kill switch

ahhhh so your wanting a push button starter

i think its been done before :shrug
but it would be fairly simple to do, as the ciggerette lighter socket comes out very easily.
your kill switch would simply be put in line somewhere in the circut
however
iirc with those start buttons you still have to insert your key and turn the switched 12v on
unless you tear down the steering colum and wire it in to those leads.

just grab a electrical diagram from one of the service manuals and go to town with it

i had it done on my eclipse before i sold it and did my buddies 2001 also. not hard, just need a wiring diagram so you know what wires to connect to the relay for the push start. it's not hard, just a little time consuming and uncomfortable. i'll see if i can find a pic of mine.
