So, I was driving around today and this light in the top right corner of the gauge cluster that looks like a jail cell:

I am thinking it's something electrical cause it flicks on and off like every millasecond its changing. I have no original owners manual to see what it means, and my other manual doesn't even mention dash board lights.

Radiator/ Coolant light- Check your coolant levels or it may be the sensor, I believe its at the bottom of the overflow tank, not sure though

lol that's gotta be the most mis-interpreted ever. yea it's the coolan't level warning light though. not that air filter warning light or whatever else we've come up with so far..

Haha, yeah I didn't even think of that when I posted it, I forget this is NT sometimes. Does it really matter though? I'm sure rs/gs have the light too >.>

i don't think they do, then again i never had that light come on when i had my RS.

My 97 RS didnt have the light but my 95 GS did so it's not only a turbo model light.

Maybe its just not on base model RS. Either way, I have never seen the light before on any other car I've owned, but then again this is my first turbo car and the turbo is eating oil and coolant like no tomorrow.

Defanitely turbo. No spool, smoke under boost when it does, and no oil in the coolant or vice versa. Car drives 100% when not in boost. Turbo's been going for a while, but I just let it go, now it's totaly gone so I have a new one on the way.

could be a leaking sensor plug, mine was full but a slight leak was tripping the sensor

when i bought my 95 ESi that light was constantly on. then one day it went out. i think maybe it burned out, cause the water temp was rising on me one day, so when i got home n checked it out the coolent was definately low, but no more light.

Something I should mention. I found my wire was cut and whenever it hit another wire or something it set it off, cause my coolant level was full and it still went off untill I taped off the end. Just for future refrence.

when i turn my car on(1995 RS) the light comes on but goes off again so i think this light is on most eclepses

Whoa, thats one word i think you should know how to spell.

Back on topic, My 95 base model RS had that light, came on for a little when i first did a motor swap, then went out moments after.

it was your motor burping out the air bubbles, that happens, there's an extra sensor in the t stat housing, you don't even need the reservoir sensor
