So I was making a left into a parking lot, the only problem was, there was a glare and I couldn't see that the entrance was only meant for people on the other side of the road to turn in. By the time I saw, it was too late and a split second later I heard a crunch. I didn't think it was going to be as bad as it was because my bumper's polyurethane, but apparently it was a high curb so I did more than just scrape it. Anyways here's the damage, $600 down the drain not counting the rim, looks like I'll be getting a 2gb bumper sooner then I thought.

You do know that stillen will replace that for free right? i got a lifetime guarantee with my bumper.

well i actually got mine through performancecenter.com, same bumper just stillen markets it as theirs even though it's made by another company. The only thing is when I checked on their site it said that you have to send them your bumper, then they inspect it to see if it was damaged under normal conditions, i doubt me plowing a curb constitutes, then if they decide to replace your bumper you have to pay for them to ship you a new one, soo I figure shipping alone will cost me as much as a 2gb bumper off ebay, and there's still the "if" part of whether or not it will be replaced

on a lighter note, i just got a call saying I'm getting an extra 1k bonus for my new job so that takes some of the sting out

not a bad idea Dave, but eventually I will lower the car and I don't know if I wanna put on a lip that's just gonna get screwed up. The 2gb bumper is definetly gonna be on the list though. BTW there's a meet this weekend if you wanna go

your rims look like the wheel of a 14b turbo. :) Use that 1k to get some rims and either get that thing fixed or put a beautiful 2gb bumper on there. :)

Either way good luck. I ran over a 3-4" high curb thing once and about crapped my pants. No damage luckily though.

on the idea of getting a lip for your 2gb bumper...don't do it. you also said that you are going to lower your eclipse too. i was on 18's, 2 inch drop, with the rmdsm lip and my clearance was 3 fingers. i'd suggest either sticking with a stock 2gb bumper and lowering or get your stillen fixed and lower the car. just my 2 cents on being lowered with a lip and daily driven.

yeah that's way too little clearance I probably couldn't get in my driveway with 3 fingers clearance.

Pretty much, it does suck, I hate having to look at it. At least it's not as bad as the last pics you posted of your car, of course you didn't do that damage.
