Very nice, please tell me each sub has its own enclosure and its not just one large enclosure for all 4 subs......

Looks good but I think the subs in the back seat area make it look like a giant throne.

nice work i like the design too but for it to sound good each sub has to have its own enclosure like terry said . also you should have used the stock panel that goes over the trunk latch .

not too bad, happy sanding :)

(Not to bad)Thanks lol. As for the stock plastic trim piece it was messing up the fleece for some reason. This is the 5th eclipse one I have done and I used the stock piece every other time. Its no problem to make it look good. I do this all the time. And each sub has its own box with airspace calculated with peanuts.

I said not too bad because because when the resin was tacky, you should have put down a couple layers of matting w/ resin to make it thicker/stronger. I didnt see any pics of it like that so I figured you probably didnt do it.

And I just dont know if I like the rear seat idea w/ more subs, 6 subs is a lot. Where are all the amps going?

I guess I will just have to see what it looks like when its finished & painted...

EDIT: From the 2nd pic you posted, looks like your car needs a paint job too :)

haha ya thats actually not the car the system is going in. I just used it since my car has no plastics inside at the moment and everything is being carbon fibered. So far it has CF roof, CF Hood, CF hatch and CF pillars. As for strength there are 4 layers of Xmat on the inside of the box. Amps are getting mounted to a rear seatbelt mounted bar that will run across the car.

what subs are going in there ? cant be much power with that small of airspace for each sub . i would only have been able to fit about 2 12's at the most . you could have went with 2 decent powered subs and it would sound better and louder than all 6

basically a whole rear hatch for airspace is a lot for 4 12" subs. I cant remember off hand what CU-ft each sub figured out having but it was along the line of 1.5cf Any 12" high powered sub will sound fine in a sealed box of that size. For this application I am using Eclipse SW8200 subs.

Love the hatch area.. but the back seat area just puzzles me... lol no offense.. but with all those 12's i would have probabally tried to do like 2 15's and some tv's capacitors batteries volt gauges and amps.. I like much and its a bit much fo the same thing for me.. and the back seat does look like a throne... its one of those projects you got to see it to its end... good luck :)

I want someone to make me a backseat piece like that ... just with 2 subs how you have it and a place for amp in the middle. I like my trunk space :|

Actually along the backside of the seat there are going to be 2 7.2' screens and 2 5farad capacitors. Possibly the rear seat might be turned into a bridge that will hold the amps still undecided.

unless they are angled correctly, IMO that is stupid. the only way to see them would be from in front of the windshield unless you have really nice TFT screens. I would atleast angle them outwards.

theres no way you need 2 5 fared cap . every 1200 watts needs 1 fared . how much power are you running ? if you were to need 2 5's you should look into a ho alt. and spare battery .

Wouldnt the HO alternator get regulated back down by the voltage regulator? isnt it in the ECU? correct me if im wrong on this.

Its all for show. The 2 5farad capacitors are for show use as well. I know you need apx 1 farad per 1000 watts. I have been doing show cars for over 7 yrs now and its all in the bling factor if you know what I mean lol.

I would have to agree that you are accomplishing what you are setting out to do. Even your name has "bling" in it. Be sure to post up the finished results. As you will notice, there is a lot of performance oriented minds around here. Just make it known that it is all for show and I would hope that you get a little less negative feedback.

You have been doing this for 7 years? Do you have a website or something where we could check out your other work?
