97222, Where do you find tan a-pillar gauge pods!? Posted by clipse_2005, Nov-15-06 01:55 AM
I am looking for a tan three gauge pod a-pillar replacement and I can not find them ANYWHERE. I can't find ANY tan a-pillar replacement pod for the eclipse for that matter. It bugs me because I really need one and I have seen them on the road many times but I can not figure out where to get them. Can someone please enlighten me! I've already checked ebay sevaral times with no luck. Thank you in advance.

When you say you've seen them, do you mean on 2g's? Cause I don't think I've ever seen one on a 2g and a quick google and check at summit netted me nothing

I didn't say they don't exist, I just said I've never seen them on a 2g and couldn't find them in a search either

I have seen them on 2gs before there is one at my school that has one. Is there a paint that would match the tan interior close enough to not be noticeable? I would do the paint thing if I was sure that it would look good.

They do exist I owned one before I did my black interior conversion, I don't know who made it or where it came from but this was 4-5 years ago so I'm not sure if they're still out there, but yes you are correct they came like that, factory color and grain it was a nice piece, better than the ebay black one I ended up with.

Just get a black one and redo your headliner to match. It will look much mo' better IMO.

Thank you very much ^^ but I really don't know if I want to drop $60 on a gauge pod lol. I'll probably end up just getting a black one off of ebay and finding some tan spray paint to closely match the interior.

I bought my tan one on ebay a couple of years ago and all it is, is a black pod painted tan. -Todd
