My stock gauge is 8k...so what happens if i put the 9k gauge cluster from an OZ edition in there?

you will more easily blow your engine? :shrug
You will have the markings for an extra 1000rpm which doesnt really belong in there... but in all seriusness I dont know, would it affect where the red line is? We need some pro's in here.

thats what i was thining because im A/T so it wouldnt change the shift points my tach would just show lower than it really is. right?

I imagine it would show higher since the numbers will be closer together, if in fact it changes anything.

it wont change anything with the speedo, it will just show slightly higher rpms (or lower i dont really know), but it wont affect anything other than knowing what rpm ur at... and with an A/T its not really that important. I did that a few years ago.
