Okay I have a question for my upcoming project... right now I have a standard GS spoiler (pics upon request since I don't know how to do my sig).. and what I really want is the standard turbo (GSX) spoiler.. I know that I will have to remove mine... find a turbo spoiler etc. etc.. My questions are.... is there any place to find a used one,,, or get a good deal on one? And does anyone know how much this will cost me..what it all entails... please let me know guys....

Thank you!

Check out http://www.spoilers.com/wings/mitsueclip95.htm
I know they have OEM spoilers, but im not sure if its the exact same as the GSX, but it sure looks like it. Prices should run you about 100-150 for a good one. Usually they come unpainted, and thats what costs the most.

You have to remember that there will be a lot of body work involved with filling in the holes. I think there will be like 3 different spots to fill. I would say go with the one that BLKOUT has the only hole you have to fill is the one that is in the middle of the trunk lid.

I got that wing for $130 on Ebay, and its consistently on there. Always for cheap. It was good quality ready to be painted with all the parts needed. I think its from someone on there representing"JapAmerica" or something like that

http://www.summitracing.com has an A&A Specialties Inc. Turbo style spoiler for $150 part number ANA-927540. With templates for mounting etc. Still need the body work, but that seems like a decent price for a ready to paint spoiler.

Around $225 per fender for a ehh.... decent job. Throw a sticker on it to cover up the hole and save alot.

hey aleclipse if u r interested in a custom wing check out my boyz at method industries they should be finishing a wing by this weekend for a show that we r going to in va on sunday. they design in cad and cut the stuff with a CNC machine so the parts come out perfect. they'll make them out of what ever, fiberglass, carbin fiber or kevlar i'll b putting up some pic's of it. if u do a custom one then u probably wouldn't have to deal with the holes and stuff u can drop them a E at amason1866@earthlink.net

Okay I got a lot of answers but I am still confused... first of all,,, I definetely want the turbo spoiler... I have always liked the look of it.. and I know it's going to be expensive... getting the spoiler, having it painted, filling the holes.. etc etc.. i have looked on a few websites... I will try some of your ideas... email me at aarndt@lifetimefitness.com if you want to see some pics or if you have a spoiler you think I would be interested in buying... cause I really want to find a turbo spoiler.... thanks.

you're prolly best off with summit since they only charge like $7 for shipping (unless its more since its big).
Paint shouldn't be too much (relatively speaking) since they only have to paint above the pinstripe, the hatch will be more though, and you can just have the holes filled with bondo if they want to o much to weld it

Don't fill the holes with bondo, it will dip in and crack eventually. You have to get the holes welded, then bondo over that to smooth it out. It will probably cost 500 to 800 for labor to fill in all the holes and repaint it all...

DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT GET THE SPOILER FROM A&A, from Summit. (No offence if anyone else actually had a good product from them.)
We had one on the Eclipse for 3 months, it was primed, painted and installed by a professional. It is made out of rigid foam not fiberglass and does not expand and contract like it is suposed to with temperature changes (what the company told us anyway)and splits. Also the primer and paint don't adhere well and chips.
Ended up with one from wings west, depite it being a tad more expensive it have stood the test of time, also was painted by the same person and has been on the car now 2.5 years.
