the hood says not for turbo cars and people have tight fits with the 2.4swap wondering if it will fit.
thanks

4g cars need the "power buldge" or some sort of extra room. Due to the cam gear location

Coming from the owner of 3 seperate predator hoods, NO there is no clearance. I had to relocate my ECU, and have once of the ac lines rerouted to make it fit "decent" and it still wasn't great. That was with the AB Flug Predator hood. The Aerogear hood doesn't have as deep of vents so you don't need as much space, but it's still a tight fit, don't know the clearances with the 2.4 but if it's any noticable dif in height you will probably have issues. And just FYI they do say not for turbo models but a shop around here managed to get them to fit on two Turbo model eclipses. If you see the ads with a blue or green eclipse with v&t stickers on the windshield that is them one was a GST the other a GSX, the hood was designed for looks THEN designed for the car, therefor it wasn't very well thought out when it came to fitment. With the close fit of our hoods to begin with, trenching down into the compartment with those vents makes it even worse. The only downside I ever had was when it was raining heavily you could see steam coming out of the vents from water hitting the motor. I wasn't so worried about my stock 420a but the vents are rather large to risk a swapped motor, or built/turbo. It's a risk and a pain in the ass to fit it up but it's def a hot hood.
