96380, Help me figure this out
Posted by eclipseman1999, Sep-03-06 02:05 PM
Ok right now my tsi is stock blue and in bad condition. I either want to do a eclipse conversion and charcoal grey or leave the rear a talon and paint in white. Wich one do you guys think looks better? Not which one is more rare or uncommon but which one looks like a nicer car. Im having a hard time making up my mind. Thanks

They're both fuckin sexy you could flip a coin to decide and love the outcome either way. IMO if you go with the white though do the two tone like in the picture. Yeah sorry I'm no help

I personally like the charcoal grey Eclipse conversion you had in mind, not because of the color, which by the way is pretty badass because its not too bright and not too dark, but mainly because I like the stock look of the Eclipse. Your idea for the Talon doesn't look bad though. If you did do the two tone like cs82685 suggested, that'd be pretty tight too. I guess it all depends on how much you want to spend in getting your car to look the way you want it to. Either way, you're still going to have to spend a lot money on the paint job alone, depending on how good you want it to be.

White FTW. White is wayyyyy more sexier than charcoal. Very clean.

Dude. You don't want to make that thing look like Dan's old car ("The X"). You would make a DSMer cry. Go with the white for the win. It's sleek, the contrast between black and white makes it pop, and no doubt the paint colors would be cheaper!

PM FlyinESi and ask him yourself. The second two pictures are the same car - the first one in Wyoming and the second just before it died in Phoenix.

They are indeed HP Evo's.

I'd also say to keep the blue unless you're painting the bay, jams, etc.

I really like the white talon, it seems a little more unique than the standard 2gb eclipse conversion.
