So I just found this guy on ebay and he's all of about 5 minutes from my house. Since my head's coming off and my valve cover looks like crap I think I'm gonna pick up a powdercoated one from him. Oh and best part, should only cost me like $50-$60 and my stock vc.

I know it's my car and all so I should decide but its hard, the mirror black is nice cause it's so shiny, but the other colors look good too

Also, there's a guy that does excellent work on powder coating valve covers for a cheap price. The quality is incredible. Here's a link to his ebay profile.

He was on Team-2g.com for a while and he has posted up pics of the different covers that he did. Just put his name, corecase, into the search with the thread started by option and see for yourself.

I've had my full intake manifold, fuel rail, valve cover and radiator clips done by TRG and Tom does very good work..........nothing wrong with it at all...........my eclipse stuff is on his website somewhere in the gallery section....




very impressed with his work...........i will be getting my intercooler piping done by him along with some more items soon enough.......

Looks good blured. OMG I just realized something awful about that pink valve cover. It's for a 4g63, eewwwww.

I say go with the mirror black or a nice red. My new motor has the valve cover done in red. It will be the one thing that will really stick out under the hood.

Yeah his work looks pretty good, I've settled on the Mirror Black, it looks just like the kinda shine the car has to it when all waxed so I think it will look good. Funny, I always thought if I was gonna get something powdercoated, it would be a color that would stand out, but I think it will look pretty good, and if anyones seen my engine pics they know exactly how dirty/ugly it currently is, so it will be a big improvement.

Good post, i was just about to look for someone to powdercoat some things for me!

mirror black looks pretty clean, damn that vc, intake mani and fuel rail look f'n nice! good job man
