i'm thinking of gettin a short shifter, is b&m the best or does it really matter? i think the name of the b&m one is 'the edge'.

got any websites were they're cheap? i found a few sites were they're 160$.

yeah, that's about what I paid for mine.

I think if I had to do it all over again, I'd get the neuspeed shifter, because it's the whole mechanism.

but the B&M is very nice in build quality and tolerances. it's on ball bearings too:)

i have the OBX one, but you'll have to cut some out of the middle if you want it any shorter, not hard to do and its cheaper with good quality. i haven't tried the B&M one so i'm not sure about that one. i just thought i'd try something different. i can't think of anyone else on the board that has one, eventhough somebody might. oh yeah, it's both pieces also.

the neuspeed replaces the whole shifter mechanism all the way to where it connects to the cables. A much tighter setup.

another thing I like about the B&M is that it tilts your shifter's pivot point backwards, and moves to towards you. it felt really different drivin an eclipse with a stock shifter...

Hey man I just opened up a shop(in my friends garage for now)and I can get you that b&m short shifter for $150 plus s&h if you want.I can also hook u up with just about anything.

i have it and i love it, i also had two inches cut outta the middle and had it rewelded and now its the best....
