im in between 2 colors to paint my car and cant think of what to paint it....Just give me your thoughts between the 2 colors. if you dont know what gunmetal gray is it is a dark gray color just to let u know.

maybe if you read after i finished it i took sheet metal and welded it underneath it... so not to be an ass dont start saying shit when you dont even know how i finished it.. and for if theres anything wrong with the paint...there is a few things wrong.. like on the drivers side someone open there door into my car and left a huge dent. passanger side someone decided to turn out of a parking spot alittle to soon and scratch the entire side of my car. very deep. then on some spots of the car there is paint chipping.. those are the reasons why im painting it and plus i just want my car to looking nice for when i sell it.

if you're going for candy apple.. make sure the body shop knows exactly how to do it properly with all the pearls. My buddy got a metallic blue done on his car, and it didnt turn out too great. The paint almost looks like an orange peel.

and if you're selling you car, why are you even going to bother putting in 2-3 grand for a new paint job? i doubt you'll be able to get that money back...or do you already have a buyer?

anyways, i say you go with the gunmetal

orange peel has nothing to do with the color or pearls pal. orange peel usually consists of not enough clear, or shooting with to low of a pressure. the kandy paint I have painted with before doesnt have any pearls, its all mixed already, you just add your reducer and go.

so obviously your buddy paid for a shitty paint job IMO.

to the original poster, do gun metal grey with a tint of blue pearl. when it hits the sun, its amazing, absolutely amazing. a guy i work with has his blazer like that and its flawless looking.

well long story short it went wrong when everything was on and running.... and about the gunmetal with the blue pearl.. give me some details on what it looks like.. im going to buy paint tomorrow
