I'm trying to get the glue off of the tail-light housing and red lens. The glue softens up when you heat it, but this is really a time consuming/inefficient method for me. I want to put something on it that softens up the glue or disolves it entirely.
When I put the taillights back together, I'm going to replace the glue with the same kind of silicone I used on my headlights. Works great at keeping out moisture, and makes access into the housing much easier.

Goo Gone is great on plastic. I use it on just about anything. You can pick it up at almost any retail store. I swear by it.

Goo Gone rules, took like 2 minutes to remove all the residue from removing the tint on my windows
