simple, Once my car is all done up,
should I just put on some coilovers
or air ride?
Worth the money or not?

Air ride is for wannabe ballers who belong in domestics with wire rims, who do not give a flying fuck about performance or the space inside their car. Coilovers are usually fine, but judging from the direction you are taking your car, cut springs will suit its ghetto fabulousness.

Man it all depends what you want out of your car. If you are going with performance then the airride would not be the way to go. But if you are going for show theres nothing like a slamed eclipes. But you also can get the slamed effect with coilovers just it takes longer to adjust them down. So like I said it all depends what you want. And rember one thing it's your car so do what ever you feel well make you happy. Later

Air ride is just 1 more thing you have to worry about breaking, and from what i've experinced with my friends cars, it likes to do that alot.

Ok sorry guys I think you didn't understand me right.
Probably because my first post was so vague.
Ok what I meant was I'm going to be lowering my car
and even with just the stock body its sits very low
after even a 2" drop let alone 3"
I'm not looking for the slammed look but
looking for a solution to ripping off my bumpers and
skirts every time I hit a speed bump, pot hole, or just
driving into a steep driveway.
I was thinking air ride for the purpose of driving with a 2" drop and being able to raise the car up when I need to get over those obstacles.
Doesn’t the Lamborghini’s drive around with adjustable air ride on the front for that very purpose? Or am I way off.
Please now if anyone could give me some insight, comments, suggestions
toward this idea I'd really appreciate it.

airride has been tested to work good on a track . however it is NOT for bumpy roads .

Coilovers all the way. I have H&R springs with a huge drop 2.5 almost 3 once my car settled. Dealing with potholes and speed bumps sucks knowing what I know now. Im getting coilovers next time around so I can set them bitches to street show or track and call it good.
