My headlights keep blurring. Every two weeks I go out and buff them. They look nice for about a week or so, and then bam they are ugly again. Short of buying new headlights anyone got any suggestions?

Ya, what kind of compound and buff pad are you using? Are you buffing by hand or by a electric buffer?

are you wetsanding them then buffing?

some kind of sealant or clear on 'em? i dk, my car looks like shit ATM, but once its painted and has the wing ans skirts, ima baby the shit out of the exterior.

just buffing and by hand with turtle wax rubbing compound.

use the guide we have on here some where, the liquids i recomend at the end are the SHIT, two step process. Try machine buffin,

PS. turtle wax suxs, i tried that one too... :)

5 min with a $30 sears buffer and some turtle wax lasted me about 2 months. I have to deal with hawaii weather lots of sun :) my roof started to oxidize(SP) six months after I shipped it here, and I paid for the extra protective coat too.

Talon or Eclipse? Talons had no clear on the roof... Maybe mine didn't because when the car was buffed the pad turned black.

They have clear cloat. What your seeig is the clear oxidize real bad and when you buff it the oxidation is removed.

I just use toothpaste...Anyways it isnt abig hassle...mine get real blurry sometimes too.
