Anyone have experience with these? They seem pretty good quality.

Under $300 shipped too. Trying to decide between these or DAD seats.

I think they are the same price of the ones your looking at.
Personally they look a bit nicer then yours.
Post em up if ya do buy a pair though.

Sweet! How does the vinyl feel vs. suede? Have you tried the DAD seats also? Trying to decide between the two. How long have you had yours? Any fading/coming apart?

I was planning on making some brackets w/my friend's help.

Thanks for the input, keep it coming!

IMO, I would say pass on those seats. It may sound like a good idea and they may LOOK good, but I wouldn't trust my life to something like that. I say if you are going to do it (as in get racing seats), do it right. I would buy some Sparco, Bride, or Corbeau ones over that. Just my 0.02

By the way, how much HP are you running that you need racing seats?

common man, give 'em a break, its just for looks and some comfort. i know thats what i will some day do (hopefully) if they wanted some serios racing protection they'd buy a helmet first :)

Yup, that's the main idea. The problem is that my ACT 2600 BROKE the stock seat's lumbar support :owned , and it's also got a big tear on the side w/the filling falling out.

Since getting another pair of stock seats is like $200+, I might as well go a bit more and get a pair of racing seats. I'd love to get a pair of Sparco's/Recaro's, but don't want to spend that much on seats yet.

I'm making about 250hp right now :D

Believe me, I sat in some cheap seats like those and they were not comfortable at all. Very cheap feeling materials and not a lot of padding.

That's why if I were to ever get racing seats for my car (probably will never happen anyways) I would make sure I get some quality ones that I can try out before I buy and know that they are REAL racing seats and not some imitation cheapy kind.

For one I've never tried the suede so I cant say which is better.
The vinyl feels good though, and i've never tried dad seats.
I've had the seats for about a year now and they still look brand new. I did use some vinyl/leather compound the odd time I was cleaning up the interior.
