looks nice but the price was just insane, concidering they used less than 1/4 as much cf as they do on hoods, trunks, etc. i think i could get mines custom done for less..

when they say injection molded the part is completly made out of plastic then with carbon fiber overlay... i wonder what kind of plastic they use, its def a thermoset plastic so it will never melt but the worst thing that would happen to it would be for it to burn but at the temperature it would take for that to happen would be alot. in a sense it would still be good as stock but like said before for 565 dollars thats crazy i think it looks cool,but having a plastic engineering major, you could easily make your own mold and lay carbon fiber yourself for alot cheaper

Materials Science Engineering? I go to Mich St for ME and we have a pretty good MSE program...I took a course in it as well...pretty cool stuff. Hard as h__l though! -EE
