94970, Photo Request: Interiors Posted by Chad97es, Jun-13-06 12:38 PM
I'm looking to do some drastic changes to my interior within the next month. Including Black carpet, headliner, and door panels. In addition to converting my seats to tan leather, and painting certain trim to accent the fresh black parts being installed. So far I've got OEM black kicks and sill panels, plus, a black center console in my "wanna-be eclipse". SO if anyone has any custom interiors, that I could check out, it'd be appreciated. Thanks! :)

the armrest is now the same c/f as the seats with red french seams down the sides, looks MUCH MUCH better, the red armrest was too much, the seats really arent that bright either the flash on the camera turns them pink, they are dark red like the rest.

None of these cars are mine, just pix I had saved. They've all been posted here before so hopefully the owners don't mind.

oh please don't paint those tan panels, I'll trade just so you don't paint the tan ones. I've been trying to find some actual stock tan ones. I've got a set of grey ones that are painted tan.
I went and redid my whole interior and then hated it when I was done and was mad cause I pissed away a crap load of money doing it. Just make sure that's what you really wanna do before you do it.

ha ha boosted...i got that same steering wheel cover...lol except mine looks like hell..( SORRY FOR SORTA THREAD JACKING HERE, BUT IT IS SORTA RELATED...)does anyone know if the door panels from the 97+ will fit the 95-96? i had no clue what the newer panels look like and they make the ones in the early 2g's look like crap

94980, RE: Photo Request: Interiors Posted by R34Eclipse, Jun-13-06 06:03 PM
yes they will fit, the only difference is the pocket on the bottoms, sebring and avenger panels will fit as well, trust me i've had em all =) and for the post saying mine is too much red, i think its because thats all thats focused on in that picture, the seats and under dash are the only things red, when your in the car its pretty much all black, i'll have to get better pics

i think interiors look better when the main colour isn't some hot flashy type but more a soft.. type colour. Tan and teal or green, which was in the first picture works together very well. But when you see guys who have like a full fibreglass bright blue interior with blue seats and everything, I just think that's too much.
just my opinion

I couldn't agree more. It's not often that looks good IMO.

Yes..thank you all for the comments! I like neutral toned colors...nothing to vibrant. Tried to give it the ole industrial look.

I used SEM Color Coat Vynil Dye (Satin Black). It comes in aerosol cans. Its not actually a dye, but it doesnt scratch fade or peel like some paints. There is an adhesion promoter that they sell for use on hard plastic surfaces. No promoter was needed on all my vynil pieces.
