94864, crooked steering column Posted by MCubed45, Jun-09-06 01:25 PM
is there a way to straighten the steering column? mine is rotated clockwise a couple degrees for some reason. you can tell because the semi-flat portion on the top isn't really facing straight up and the levers are rotated slightly as well. it's not a big deal - everything functions normally. i was just wondering if this is something is easy to fix? when i center the wheel it looks ugly b/c the flat part across the middle of the wheel doesn't match the flat part on the steering column cover...
i'll take pics later
thanks

alignnment maybe, i know the wheel doesnt HAVE to be straight for the tires to be correct, but it can be adjusted through an alignment.

it's not the wheel though. it's the actual column. that whole casing directly behind the wheel. kinda hard to explain. the wheel centers itself fine. it just looks off b/c the stuff behind it isn't straight.
