94709, making reverse tails new (pics and writeup)

For all you detailers out there-

I notice a lot of the 95-96's reverse tails are foggy and yellow, and a few of us 97-99s. I parked my 99rs next to my dad's spyder and realized just how bad my tails looked (his car is always garaged, mine is out in the elements).

So I decided to try the method I used on the headlights. (http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=7&topic_id=92541&mesg_id=92541&listing_type=search) The tails don't have any pits from road debris, so the process was simpler. Just wet-sand with 2000 grit, and then polish with McGuires Plastic Polish. takes maybe 5 minutes per light.

Before vs. after:

Makes a difference on your rear IMO :thumbsup
