94606, Seal on the window
Posted by MuddinPede, May-30-06 04:16 PM
Ok, so I am putting my stereo back in my car. Sometimes it seems like water is getting into the door, though. I need to replace the seal that is on the top of the door(bottom of the window if it;s rolled up) and seals with the window. I really don't wants my 6.5 Punches to get wet.

Thanks
Corey

I just replaced mine a week ago. They sell them at the dealer for like $40 they are kind of a PITA though. Also before you buy a new one make sure that it is sealed correctly.

Use a flat head screw driver and be careful not to damage the rubber.

I know MachV sells belt moldings, but they aren't $40. I think they're like $110 for the set.

I might try the old Vaseline. It worked well for my sunroof. Just keep them from drying out. I'll make sure that the window wasn't down or somehing first.
