I posted this photoshop a long time ago, but what do you think about possibly me putting some NSX scoops in the sides like this pic and then make it completly smooth and flat around it, so you wouldnt see any of those "points" coming towards the door? good idea or no? im just looking for an idea in which i have, but would need an opinion or two please.

edit: the pic would help obviously!

I think it would only look good if there were not other body lines in that area. Like in that picture the body molding below it would ruin it I think. But if theres nothing else there it could look good if done right.

Agreed completly. the lines below it make it to much :-/ but them there scoops do look cool sometimes.

shave your doorhandles if you put that scoop in- doesnt seem right w/ the doorhandles and the scoop in my opinion...

i was just going to say shave the door handles and mold the door so it lines up with the quarter panel . that would look way better in my opinion

Although, I cannot shave my door handles, because then the local tracks wont let me run my car!

tracks wont let u run ur car with shaved handles . is that all tracks or just the ones bny u cause i was planning on taking my car to the track this summer .

The exterior of your car is starting to look like the interior of this car. Cluttered and loaded up with every ebay add on you can think of. Our cars were made with clean lines and swoops and dont need all that jutting akwardness...

Yes, our cars are dead ass sexay stock with nice lines, but I dont like being like everyone else. I like my car to be different obviously.

Plus, my car is not "cluttered" up.

I'd say screw the track. As long as you know your car is fast who cares about running it at the track. I'd get rid of the door handles and the bodyline at the bottom of the door. Though my local track let's cars with shaved handles run so it doesn't matter around here.

The only reason I am adding things is because I dont like whats on it now. I never really liked the "rocket launchers" on the quarter panel, and a couple other things about the kit that I should have did when I did it the first time. I also dont really like the extreme look of the paint. It wasnt what I wanted it to be really, it was "supposed" to be darker, but it turned out to be brighter. I am not trying to brag or anything when I say this, but when you guys seen what I am doing all around to this thing, your going to agree with me on how clean and smooth its going to be.

I have also picked out a different color than all those in the other thread that I listed, but this one is staying a secret. I am thinking that I am going to spray the car next Sunday if everything goes as planned :)
