it's a 95 with a 97 conversion done. still a lot left to do, but here you go.

here's what's coming up very quickly for the car:
-rear seats reupholstered to match the fronts -finish painting the center console to match the dash -shift light where the tach mount is now -aftermarket steering wheel and quick release hub -rockford power series 12 inch subs. -rockford power series amp. -rockford 6 and a half's for the rear soundstage. -black back headlights. -tein adjustable coilovers -energy suspension urethane bushing replacement set for the suspension. -driving lights in the front bumper. -TURBO

Looks good. All I'd change is, ditch the roof scoop and get some rims with a dish. That, and.. Rockford is crap. All of it is no good anymore, their amps have gotten weak and unreliable since their glory days in the late 90s. Save your money, and get elemental Designs, or spend a bit more and get JL Audio.
edit: wow I like the interior too. How'd you do that paint on the dash?

rockford has never let me down. i've had something from every one of their lines. and the roof scoop is functional. i have no a/c in the car, and it gets really hot down here. that scoop is a godsend.

the scoop appears not to be completely straight, unless its the pic.
i like the color and i like the blacked out tail lights. looks real clean.
not sure if i like the whole blue look though on the interior, you should have painted it the same color as the exterior.
good job though man, looks super clean.

thanks man. appreciate the praise. the scoop is just a tad off, it's not the camera, and i'll be the first to admit. i like it a lot though, think it turned out excellent. as far as the dash, it was the previous owner's conception. i don't think it looks all that bad, and will therefore leave it as is for now. maybe a bit down the road, i might change the color, but for now i'm happy.

Nice.
Not really feeling the roof scoop or the chrome projectors, but it's pretty smooth.

i should have the black projector headlights in no more than a week to two weeks tops. i don't like the chrome, at all.

I really like those rims. Only two things I would change are the chrome housing projectors... which, I think you're replacing anyways. Also, I think there is too much black back there in the rear; match the centerpiece tailight piece to the color of your car.
I like stock interiors, but its your car. Very clean though, liking it a lot.

it's actually not near as loud as i thought it'd be, and when i have the windows down, i hear the stereo and exhaust more than it. me and my friend are fabbing up an insert that will slide in, complete with weather stripping or something, to completely block the scoop off. so that way in the winter or when it's cold, i'll just pop it in and be good to go.

Why not wire the scanner with a switch or to a key controlled power source?
The wire and cigarette adapter look tacky.

alright. thanks for all the compliments on the car and the suggestions. that being said, a small update.
i changed the projectors this weekend over to black models. look 110 times better. i am also picking up asap from a guy a stock black dash, black glove box, black center console, black console side trims, and all the little odds and ends that go with it all. that'll go in asap and look good. in addition, i have an aftermarket steering wheel, quick release hub, shift boot, e-brake handle, e-brake boot on the way. i picked up an optima red top battery, which is going in the rear to make the engine bay cleaner. and i've done a few other small things.
in a couple weeks, i'm pulling the motor and trans, so i can fix the speed gear inside the trans. while i have everything out, i'm going to degrease the engine bay, prep it, paint it satin black, detail all the hardlines, polish the intake manifold, polish the valve cover, clean the block, head, and tranny case up, coat them all with aluminizing paint of something to make them look clean, and tuck the wiring harness. should look very good when i'm done.

Hey Hook I have the same front end to. Was wondering if you have any fiting problems on the driver side. Like the finder opening not lineing up with the bumper? But it dose look good. Later.

you should cut out the scoop and just put a sun roof in. You can open it when its hot, close when its cold, plus it'd look alot better then the scoop

scoop has A LOT of work into it. so it'll stay.
and to the guy asking about fitment issues, yes, the driver's fender won't line up perfect with the bumper. the bumper seems to be a little too short, and sticks a hair further in than the fender.

Thanks man. I was starting to wonder if it was just my kit that was doing it. But I will be fixing this problem very soon.
