93881, How do I wire up an aftermarket door lock actuator?
Posted by jam013200, Apr-25-06 01:34 PM
I searched and was throughly confused after reading all the stuff on power door locks.

I bought a door lock actuator off ebay and installed it and now I need to make the electrical connections. The aftermarket has two wires, I assume power to one opens and power to the other closes? How to I wire this to the four pin plug that was connected to the old motor?

Can someone help me out? Like I said, I searched but did not get a clear answer to this question. Thanks.

I figured it out. In case anyone in the future needs this information. It is the blue/black and blue/red wires, you will need to connect the actuator depending on polarity (ie. which way you want it to move when the switch is depressed).
