First time messing around with headlights on any vehicle, but it didnt do that bad, these bolted in pretty good, basically only had to wire up 2 wires for the halo into my side corner, they light up really nice and look pretty good i think. had so much hell getting to 1 bolt behind the headlight, we got to the point to where we wanted to break the old headlights out, but we messed around and got it! i liked the turn out

MUCH better than the covers u had before changes the whole look, now ditch the white on the outside

i wanna take that vinyl crap off but am afraid of a huge ass blob of glue and shit on the side, plus after 2 years, imagine the fade the rest of the car will have, look like a ghost tear or something .. im ready to change that though .. i think these lights would look good with a CF hood after i paint the ride, so i may go that way

If you let your car sit in the sun for a couple hours, that WHOLE decal would come off in one piece, with minimal glue left on the surface. :) Then goto a sign shop and get the glue remover they use for signs and such. THEN, go get some good mothers 3 stage cleaner/polish/carnuba and buff the shit out of it. Youll be so happy you did.

they look good man. i like projector headlights but mine were a pain in the ass. we actually did just rip out the others. only thing i don't like is my halos burnt out in like a month. <-- might be because i put them to the light on the bumper and not the corner like it said to. (put 97-99 on when 96 front was on) oh well, going back to 96 front later on which will make me get new ones anyway.

yeah i hooked mine up to my side corners, hopefully my halo doesnt burn out, they are pretty tight and i bet that you couldnt replace just the halo either

Be ready. I had some on my other car and they burnt out after two months. First they flickered for a while and then they burned out. I have seen write-ups on replacing halos but it's a pain in the ass. You have to open your whole headlight. You should have got the black projectors instead.

I've heard the same. Personally, I believe the 2GB factory headlights are the only headlights worth getting, IMO. Some projectors look really nice though.

That's of course, if you're needing headlights for a bumper that requires 2GB headlights.

I would suggest opening up those headlights prior to installing them and upgrading the LEDs on those halos to some better ones from superbrightleds.com or Radioshack with the right resistor so you don't have to worry about them burning out early.

i have replaced the led my halos 3 times now and still they dont work . i heard something about putting in a resistor . how is that done ?

By soldering a resistor on the longer end (positive+) of the LED before connecting it the wires. Superbrightleds.com has some good calculators to figure out what kind of resistor you should use depending on the type of LED you are using. Every bulb in my 2gnt with the exception of the head/taillights are all converted to LEDs.

You could also use good ole WD-40 to get the glue off after taking off the vinyl. Another suggestion for when you are taking it off would be to use a heat gun (LIGHTLY!!!) or hairdryer to make it easier to peel back the vinyl.
