these are 17inch buddy club p1 performance wheels on the tokico HP kit.

Very clean... I want a red 2GNT.

How'd the install go? I have a complete suspension kit (tokico illuminas) sitting in my garage waiting to go on, just waiting until i can afford the alignment afterwards. I'll post up pics after mine is done, mines red too :)

How does the ride feel after being dropped. Also how much did it lower your car.

well, the ride feels better than it did with my stock ones on. However, i also had a few other bad suspension parts there were replaced at the same time. Also, i drove it home with it not being aligned/adjusted... im driving it to work tommorow like that too because i didnt have enough time to take it to be adjusted. The tires that are on there i dont care abot though, they're already ruined due to not being balanced or aligned from the person that had them before me that i got them from. So i will purchase tires and an alignment/camber kit and have it done saturday.

Hm, I've got the same setup but I'm way lower than that. What's the tire thickness on your rims there?

it SAYS 1.5inch lowere, i never really measured before/after tho... pretty sure theyre 215/45/17

edit: btw is it safe for me to drive as long as i dont mind the rear wheels will be chewed to hell on the inside?... its 35mph all the way to work, bout 10 min drive

Just do the 15 dollar camber mod ASAP. I think your tires will survive much more driving if you do, unless you feel like buying new ones in a few weeks.

edit: maybe its just shadows or the angle, but it looks like you really need the camber mod on the back, cuz i think i can visibly see the tire angling out.

You will have more problems from the front then the rear. I have no camber kit on back, and it wears even. I have a camber kit on front, it still wears uneven. I am getting new tires / an alignment next week though so I will see if that helps. One of the work tires is brand new, less then a few hundred miles. Jeez.

yeah, the rear's pretty bad. front looks fine believe it or not. Im going tommorow to see if i can get the camber kit done and buy some new rubber as the stuff on there sucks...

and i hate myself, i scratched the hell out of my driverside side skirt... i couldnt see and i was doing 50mph before u know it boom, curb... ill get a pic when its light outside, maybe i can have maco do the skirt up for me, ill take it off and have it sprayed.

Yea, it's safe.

I drove on mine about 100-200 miles before I got it aligned. Ten times better now.

I got mine aligned about 2 weeks afterwards of doing the install because I just had brand new tires put on and I was going to be doing a 1000+ mile trip to move. I didn't want to chance my tires being bald on the inside by the time I got to Texas (From Minnesota).

It's not all that expensive to get an alignment done. You can definitely feel a difference after it's done and you have peace of mind knowing that your tires are wearing evenly.
