I went to get my car aligned this morning and kept hearing the occasional screeching of belts. I knew it was from my car.

Nevertheless, I say it's no big deal since I can adjust them when I get home.

Anyways, they tell me I'm leaking oil, and it's from my rear seal. :(

It came from the VC gasket btw, and not the rear seal, which is awesome news on my part.

That's real damn good news man. I know what it feels like to have the car portion of your heart broken. My HG blew a couple weeks ago, so I'm thinkin, "No big deal, that's a weekend to fix.". But no, come to find out not only did my HG blow, but i snapped a connecting rod also. So now I'm gonna slowly rebuild the whole damn motor.

Paint those wheels black w/ the lip polished then put on the rsdm chinn lip and get back to us.

Definitely a breath of fresh air. From 10-20 bucks for a new gasket to 1000 bucks for the seal job.

It might also be feasible to find a motor already ready to drop in that someone's trying to get rid of.

Nah, if you remember back I had that paint setup on my GS 5 spokes.



I'm just not going to mess with painting wheels anymore.

As for the lip, I don't need more things scraping on the road. You've seen Shuwa's clearance.
