Its not exactly color matched, but its close and I like that its slightly darker. Now My question is... Should I leave it blank, should I put the ECLIPSE letters on painted metallic silver? or should I put a Chrome DiamondStar logo on it?

IMO it looks much better. good job dude, id have to say maybe add the diamond styled logo, that would look tight

OMG, it looks 100% better with that painted center section. Nicely done man :thumbsup Edit: and i think the diamond star logo would look awesome there. I've been contemplating doing that for some time.

ist not darker. its a warmer red where as the car is a cooler red. dont worry about that tho. it looks pretty good. see if u can shoot some clear on it so its glossy like the car

i think it looks nice, but IMO theres nothing better on red eclipses than stock lights w/out badging. on other cars like black ones i liked the way some of the nightshaded ones look, but it does look much better w/ the red center piece

I did one clearcoat, just to protect it, and I was trying to think of how to make it look glossy, I guess another coat or two of clear would do the trick? I'll have to do it sometime thursday or friday, thanks for the compliments (and advice to do it in the first place), i'm very happy with the way it turned out!

I was contemplating tinting the tails, I think it'd look awesome during the day, and they'd be just as bright at night right? Hmm..

Also tint your back up lights while your at it, or at least get new ones. They look like they've seen better days IMO.

They look fine to me too :shrug: Eventually I'm gonna do the 2gb conversion on front and back (and maybe skirts, why not). Can't wait for that. But all that has to wait until I do some tests and see what kinda shape the engines in. Don't want to put all this work into a car with an engine waiting to crap out.

Thanksfor all the compliments they turned out better than I expected, and I'm still contemplating the chrome mitsu logo, it looked real nice on a 3g I saw the other day.

that looks pimp bro, i need to take some shots of my tinted altezzas. cant even tell they are altezzas thats how dark they are, untill i turn them bitches on! hahaha and the eclipse letters i repainted silver stand out like nobodies business!

Post those pics man! I wanna see how they look, I'm seriously considering doing that...
