Ok here's the deal. The car has been in and out of the garage a lot in the past year due to a lot of engine and suspension work. I now I am trying to focus on getting the interior looking better. Most everything is in pretty good condition, I was just wondering if anyone had any tips to clean it up like what to use to clean the seats and carpet. Do I need to buy a special shampoo or something?? Also any other tips on making the interior look nice, but I dont want anything to flashy. I am a big fan of the clean factory look. well if ur carpet is as dirty as mine, oil, dirt, rtv sealant and stuff ide recomend to just replace it and buy floor mats after that, i know i will! as for the seats, if they are stained and are cloth, thats a hard one, if u have leather, there are leather liquids out there, or just general all purpose cleaner and armor all! good luck :thumbsup

Thanks for the info, I probably should just replace the carpet. Its not that bad, maybe I will try steamcleanig it?? I do have cloth seats and I was thinking the same thing, steam clean?? I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any good cleaners to use on that stuff.

RESOLVE carpet cleaner, Zout!, Armor All or Meguiar's for the dash and stuff.

First spray down the carpet with carpet cleaner/the stuff i use at work is called mariner/zout would also work good, use a brush with brissels abit rougher than a tooth brush moisen the carpet down with hot water while scrubbing/so its gets foamy. Then we usually go over it with a soapy wash mit too. Then just vacuum it up and it should be good to go once it dries.
Also the warmer the water the better it helps get rid of heavy grease or salt stains and it helps alot changing the water often.
Thats all i can think of for now.

take your carpet it out.. ship it to me, I own a carpet cleaning business, I cleaned mine and wow, I am the man. haha.. I'll post pics as soon as I can take them of the after pic.

I'll do your carpets for 20 bucks. That's alot cheaper than what we charge normally, but other people arent 2gnt'rs.. let me know, I can have it done and on its way back either the same day or next day, depending on drying time.

Crystal Foam is the carpet cleaner we use at work.

take it out and pressure wash it, as long as you dont get up close on it your fine, we do it at work as well, def works, use your choice of carpet cleaner with it, or car wash works as well just don't use much or you'll be rinsing foam forever
