92859, Filling sideskirt letters with epoxy works well. Pics Posted by Blizare, Mar-11-06 07:17 AM
Here are my 96'stock sideskirts I got for $40 :) I wanna keep the sleeper look and not have any turbo markings on the car so I started filling the letters with epoxy. It's working out great so far, the first one was a little test to see how it would sand down. I used to much and have been sanding for an hour :P I filled the letters all the way and let dry overnight. The next day the epoxy had shrunken a little so I topped up each letter and let sit overnight again. I came back today and started sanding. I'm actually surprised how smooth it is and can't wait to paint them :)
Here'pics for anyone wanting to do this.
Here it's just been filled and drying

Here is half sanded down.

Here is the front piece with the chrysler logo sanded down and filled :)

I think they'l look pretty sweet all cleaned up n shit :)
