92654, 97-99 Front end comnversion

Hey ladies and Gentes, I am currently in the process of doing a front end conversion on my 1996 Eclipse GS. I already have the 97-99 headlights (installed, inch and a half gap, i can deal with it for a little bit though) but i am still awaiting the front bumper. My question is, and forgive me I am still a BANME!, but how exactly am i supposed to do it? I am not sure exactly how to do eveything, and Also the bumper is coming primed, and I need to have it painted black, does anyone know how much just painting the bumper black will cost me? Or does anyone have the paint code for the car, so I can pick up some paint and have a buddy do it? Thank you all for your help!!!

cost me 300$ at maaco to paint my front and rear bumpers to match, and they look great. Been a while now too. You already basically have everthing for the conversion, they bolt on just like your smiley bumper. Simple process.

not sure what happened with the whole ban me thing, but it was meant to say new bie. It sucks though, the four bolts for my smiley bumper are either rusted in like hell, or stripped, any ideas? Thank you for your input!

Well your going to have to get them out now arn't you?? :P

Also, on each side by the marker light there should be 3 bolts there also. Disconnect the marker lights at the same time. The wheelwells can be a pain but don't forget to put the screws back in those or you'll be looking for new ones like me. They like to rub on the tire for some reason :P

It's so easy my 8 yr old nephew could do it.

And I don't even have a nephew. :P
