what do you guys think? since im about to get my financial aid and i only need one more book, i should have some extra money. i would appreciate a photochop of there on my car or any red eclipse if at all possible, thanks guys.

That's pretty close to what I would like to get for mine. Yes, I have some nice wheels now, but I want black with a polished lip.

Bolt pattern looks good, same with offset and size.

What color is your car? Ah hell, it doesn't matter, go for it... the only thing I don't like is the color ring... what the hell is that? Can't it be just black? But if you like them, then go for it!!! Good price too!

Looks nice, pretty similar to what I have, but mine are powdercoat silver. But the design really looks nice on a red 2gnt (like mine :-) )

They don't look too bad, just don't know about the red. I'd probably have to see them on your car.

oh man I must've been tipsy when I looked cuz I didn't even see the red on those rims. Thats kinda...meh, if you can find similar ones with just black with a polished lip, I thing it'd look awesome.

So thats what you were talking about. Don't look to bad at all, I think it might match your car pretty nice.

well the ring can be taken out, but as some of you know for my other int/ext posts im OBSSESED with red all in and on my car, so i think the ring is a nice lil detail, now im def, gonna get em! the check is in for my scholarship, and still got FAFSA and tax refund to go! hahaha! yeah!!! I just purchased an EGR blockoff kit from concept illusions... I could make it, but for the price of the gaskets, it's about the same. And I don't have time.

I would buy more for the car... but getting new one soon and putting the Talon in storage for a while.... while it's in storage I might be doing a couple of things to it.... muahahaha!

oh if the ring can be removed then hell yeah go for it, decide if it looks good or not once its on the car. Don't forget to post some pics up when you get them on the car!!

Hey dsmmyth, I think you should find another picture of a red Eclipse with the 2GB front end w/ no sideskirts; should be pretty easy. Besides, the rims wont necessarily look good with a primered front end, IMO. :P

Here's a real quick chop. I usually find a car with the same rims and photoshop the rims with their brakes onto another.

I really don't like doing the rims by themselves but there is NO car with these rims.

Anywho, this should give you a broad idea.

wow those do look nice! thanks guys:D i got my scholarship money today, $1000. im not sure if i should out it into looks or the engine. ima pick up the UDP from chamucko this weekend at the meet, and thatll be 400 for installation, leaving me with 600...;( or i could buy the turbo wing and paint the whole car for the entire 1k...damn...its either one or the other...anyways guys thanks for the chops, im defenetly getting those rims now! Wow dude, do the pulley yourself. It's relatively easy.

aside from having literally no tools, i doubt i have the skils, yet. i posted on my local dsm forum, hopefully theyll hook me up.

All you need is a torque wrench, a harmonic balancer to hold the pulley still while you torque it, a jack, jack stands, and common metric sockets.

Uh, is that $400 for just the labor? No parts?

no no, im making the figure 400, after i spend the money for the belts and water pump, the rest is gona be in labor, but since im getting the belts (i think) from chamucko when i get the UDP the remainder is gona be in his labor, and i dont really know how much it would have been for the belts. so in conclusion, no its not 400 JUST for his labor its gona be 400 after everything, plus im getting the Parts Dinosaur Timing kit that includes the mechanic tensioner, water pump, belts and bearings, for 170 shipped. so hope that clears that up. but im still waiting for a reply from the local guy.
