I have the pilot projector fogs, I was wondering if it is possible to change the color so that they are white DRIVING lights instead of yellow fogs.

Yellow doesn't do anything in fog or rain, and I'd prefer to have matching colors with the headlights.

If they look like this I bought a set of clear lenses from a mail order place in Chicago a few years back.

I liked mine as stock just fine but had a spare McCulloch HID kit so I converted them to HID driving lamps.

It took me some searching but I found the dealer in Chicago that sold just the clear replacement lenses.
Hopefully you can find the same.

actually yellow "reflecs" less. So in the fog and rain it SHOULD in thoery be easier on your eyes.

True, it doesn't reflect as much, but I got them for driving lights and they just don't seem bright enough to help any. You can't really even tell when they are turned on (yes, they do turn on).

Oh, the lights are good, I'm just not satisfied :)

I want white because I'm a strange person that wants the colors to match, and I also bought them to assist with normal night driving. Yellow doesn't help me on fog or rain, so why stick with yellow?

Pilot never responded to my email.

The gist of the email I sent:

"I was wondering if you sold replacement lenses, part number xxxxxx. If you do not, can you point me in the right direction please?"

the yellow ones look nice when accompanied by and HID retrofit. Waiting for my M3 hid kit to arrive any day now.

I didn't like the HID kit in my yellow Pilot fogs. My fogs are more of a DRL than anything else although I do drive with them alone sometimes. With a lowered car they are mounted below where they should be for maximum coverage. I have to be careful to aim them low since they have HID capsules in them. That's fine with me. They are very much a cosmetic upgrade in Phoenix (fog?) I get DRL and and the cool blue deep blue flicker of HIDs with the clear lenses installed.

oh, i didn't mean puttig and HID bulb inside a yellow fog housing, i meant having HID's in the headlights just like you do, and having yellow/amber foglights lit to accompany the lighting of the HID's. Just like the lexus IS300 & 400.

I would much rather have your HID fogs tho, those looks really nice.
