hey, not too shabby bud. always good to see someone sticking with OEM equip. just my .02 but a straight OEM body will ALWAYS look the best to me..i dont find it bland one bit. i would suggest getting a pair of skirts to complete the look tho. nice work :thumbsup

remove ur center console, its prolly just a burn bulb or the conection is lose or off, i know mine was after my cuzing tryed to jam an Ipod adaptor into it LOL :squint , u should get the autolumination.com #74 LED bulbs, which, btw, i need to do a write up on, they are not exactly "plug and play" per say, and maybe i can even get some points, votes or whatever? thanks for the positive comments guys!:thumbsup

aint nothin the matter with a stock lookin car minus a couple upgrades. far better to have more bite than bark...and leave the next person dumbfounded as to how he got smoked by a seemingly stock dsm.

you know what? normal is good. id rather have a stock car, vs a complete rice bomb. do some smaller subltle things. lower it, find nice wheels, tint it a bit. dont get a huge spoiler. do nicer looking things. itll be nice looking. you dont really need a body kit to make a car look nice

Put the 2gb side skirts on and throw that turbo wing on like you said paint it and you'll be among some of the cleanest red 2gs here.

Definitely need to invest in some factory side skirts and then off to painting the car... I like your car with the low-rise spoiler... then again, I have one. :shrug

actually i got NO wing ATM!lol, but that turbo wing sure looks sexy, the side skirts are on the list as well, as i said ill be getting the two piece ones from wings west, then of to painting, im so freakin broke right now tho. i still need to buy my math books, and waiting on my fin. aid checks. i can only imagine if i WASNT going to a community college...

What the hell was I smokin'?! Well shit, get a low-rise spoiler now!

im pretty much set on the turbo wing, the less holes needed to drill, and the less parts i need to deal with the better, plus u have to agree it just adds to the agressive look and its 100x times sexier than low rise IMO! btw, how would i go about painting my gauge bezel red? i got an extra one, would i sand and paint, or simply clean it? i guess ill search that right now...pray that my fin. aid. money gets here soon, i need to make the payment to my ticket!:wallbash

Eh, I'd keep the red out of the interior, a bit ricer & cheap looking if you ask me. But it's your car. There are two phillips screws under the bezel; take those out. Then wedge a flat head screwdriver under the bottom portion of the bezel and pop it off on each side of the steering column.

I'm sorry. About painting the bezel, just make sure it's plenty clean before you spray it; it should hold up if you know how to operate a spray can.

Nah, I'm not calling you a ricer... well, maybe I am, lol. I just don't think the red contrasts very well with the rest of the dull, factory grey scheme of the interior. I'd get tired of seeing bright red all over my interior, but that's me.

Whenever you're using a spray can, I've always been taught to do light coats, instead of trying to spray the entire item with one pass. Yes, it takes a lot longer to finish, but the product will turn out a lot nicer in the long run. Also, you'll want to spray in straight lines from side to side, keeping about 12 inches away from the item to prevent overspray. Just take your time man, no need to rush things. Another thing to mention, let the paint air dry. Do not use a blow dryer to speed up the process, that'll just make the paint bubble and you'll be sanding that bitch and starting all over.

Yes, his car is very nice... however, he has black interior along with it. Grey and red isn't nice. If you do your interior like his, yours will be nice too, lol.
