Call me retarded but I can't figure out how to adjust these headlights. They're the cheapo ebay halo ones.

You should still be adjustable. There is some way you move the projector forward and backward. Ask someone like azdave he had those before he did a retro-fit.

I had some cheapie first generation projectors about four years ago. The adjustment pieces you can see are just for looks (another reason why they are gay and should only be used to house a retrofit HID system). Here's what I would do, if I were you.

Get a good idea of how you need to correct the pattern/aim and be sure to remember which light needs to be adjsuted in which direction (and whether that is severe or just a touch).

Pull the entire light out of the car. (Yes. The whole thing.)

When you pop the caps off the back for the bulbs, you will be able to see the adjustment mechanism inside that is usually attached to the external adjusters. Hey. They're cheap rice parts. They are not intended to be any kind of improvement over stock lighting. It's all about the profit margin on these things. If I remember right, you will want to look for a longer piece of all thread going through a plastic washer or something. If you see all thread or a really, really long screw, try turning it. Chances are, it will result in the projector being adustable up and out or in and down. That sort of thing.

Anyways, bearing in mind how the patterns need to be adjusted, use your screwdriver to adjust the headlights accordingly. Then install finger tight with a bolt or two and test them again.

It will take some trial and error to get these things aimed, but such is life. Fast, cheap or right. Projectors are fast and cheap. ;)

i gave all of those a couple turn and they didn't appear to be doing anything at all, just turning in place

They aren't just for looks unless you turned the so far they fell out of the socket or they were out of the socket when you got the lamps.

Check the detailed pics on my website that show that headlight taken apart. You will see the screws go into an adjusting sleeve/plate on the reflectors. Both my high and low beams would adjust with these screws. I have since put Bi-xenons in the low beam slots but the adjustment screws should work.

If the screws aren't working then you'll either need to return them of do the oven trick and open them up to see what is wrong.

thats just silly. heres mine. super easy to adjust. 4 screws and thats all. i can criss cross them if i want to just for the hell of it.

i'll give it another try tomorrow see what happens, man i want some HID's now, after driving my dads new mercedes with HID's sooo bright, lights up everything almost like day time, i love it.
