I got bored and painted the axle back in gloss black, well its not glossly anymore. At night people have to look hard to see the muffler/tip. Stealthy

the black paint isn't working for me...but like the others have said, you have a nice clean car.

definately a clean car. i think it would flow better with the car if the car had a little more black in it just my opinion. but yea it's definately stealthy, no big shiny tip for the popo to stare at

Hey, Clay and BumpinTalon, is ya'lls paint the same paint that's been on there since day one out of the factory? If so, jesus... you guys do a great job keeping them cars clean as hell. :thumbsup

Yep its the factory color. i give more credit to the last owner who took care of the exterior. The recent storms in SoCal also helped the car stay clean. Yep! i think it needs more black for it to visually flow better. A carbon fiber hatch should compliment the exhuast.

Anyone can make a car look awesome in a photograph. Mine looks exactly like Bumpin's in photos, but the paint is not in the greatest of shape.



It's how those cars look in real life.

My paint on the other hand, is brilliant no matter the angle :D power polishing does wonders.. plus the purple color is a pearl metallic from the factory which seriously adds to its appeal ..and if you thought this paint was well kept, you should have seen Clay's old car!

I don't know why you did that? just not my thing anyway. Black paint that will get all chipped up under there if you'd ask my opinion. But the car does look really good.

if it does start to chip, i'll tell what will not...truck bed liner spray that you can get at any autoshop. i painted the lower plastics on my bike with that and now they no longer chip:

Cool thxs for the tip. Btw the exhuast has been black for almost one 1 year and 4 months. Have not had any issues with the paint chipping off. :shrug

i like the car :) if anything id have powdercoated it, i love powdercoat
