91363, Window Moldings anyone!?
Posted by LikeNoOther, Dec-18-05 03:13 AM
I don't know if this post should be moved into the WTB or FS section. I am not yet looking to buy these though. I just want to know a place I can get them other than satan. I called Satan just to see for shits and giggles and the Price would make Bill Gates cry. They wanted for ALL the window moldings IE: doors, hatch windows, rear glass, front glass and moonroof almost 900.00 for it all. I am looking into getting all new window moldings because when my car was sprayed the first time; apparently it wasn't taped off very well because there is overspray on almost all the moldings. If anyone knows a good place that sells this other than satan then please let me know. Thanks!

~John.

The windshield is 55.00 new, the problem is the windshield has to be removed to install the new moulding. The hatch moulding is cheaper through a glass place (universal mouding looks fine in the rear) but they do need to remove the glass to install it also. The corner windows you might ase will hang yourself, there is no easy solution.

Hope this helps a little

I had the same problem, when my car was baby blue, maaco didnt tape very well. Much better solution to buying them is painting them the same color as your car, plus it looks good and different. See my sig.

He got so excited that he actually saw you post a somewhat positive comment that the electrical current from his brain to his fingers went haywire.

I not used to deej being complimentary in his comments on this forum. I still don't believe it 100%. The kid is an enigma, an oxymoron, and a flaming light to guide us in the night. :P

Word, bird. Its the holiday season. Naturally once that passes, I will get back to my usual wonderous cantankerous Jack-of-all-tards ways.
