Things are getting ugly. Wells Fargo says they have the correct info, but anybody can go onto NADA and see it comes out to 11,400 with a 98 with 60K on the ticker. I'm ditching my bank and going with another one to see if they can help me out. If so, I'll be putting my money into another bank very quickly!

I've worked very hard to get my credit where it is, where my income is, and to know and research the value of a car, this pisses me off.


Or maybe it is the fact that everything is not working out for me for a reason. All fingers are pointing to stay away from DSM's. They just aren't working out for me for a reason.

Just pay cash for it, banks just want your first born in payment. Last time I tried to get a loan for $8k, shit I told the guy to go screw himself after he showed me the numbers!

NADA will give you 3 price quotes, low-med-high-- banks will only loan the lowest value not the highest.

my X was valued at $15k on NADA but the lowest value was only $13500 so the bank would only give me the $13,500.

Try a dif bank but you'll probably have similar results.

Well, I ended up getting the loan for the full 13K value of the car. I went to M&I Bank here locally and they approved me for the entire amount, then I went onto www.e-loan.com and they approved me for the whole amount as well at a lower interest rate.

So is the 98 GSX what you ended up getting?

No getting yet. I'm supposed to go get it on Saturday, but the seller is having some issues with me coming over on XMas Eve since the banks might be closed he may not be able to put the check in.

I wish I had 13k to drop on a gsx :(
