I'd calculate what you could get from parting it out (plus selling all the new turbo stuff) and see where you stand. Your car will be paid off and you'll have some cash to find something else be it a dsm or not. EDIT: Just as a refresher, heres my car after wrecking it.

mine was the same thing, except I didn't quite manage to rip the door open. That entire side of the car was "V" shaped from hitting a post and a bigass rock.
